Larry Romero founded the Romero Family Funeral Home in 1977. A graduate of the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science, he received his accreditation as a licensed funeral director and embalmer and opened his first funeral home in Alamosa, Colorado in 1977.
In the years to follow, he expanded to nine other funeral home locations including San Luis, Monte Vista, Antonito, Walsenburg, La Junta, Pueblo, Pueblo West, Aurora, Denver and Lakewood, Colorado.
Larry Romero, his wife Debbie, and their five sons have served the families of Southern Colorado and the Front Range for more than 47 years. They are known throughout the region for their superior restorative art and embalming techniques.
