San Juan January

San Juana M. January (Janie) 65, of Pueblo Co, born December 19,1960 in Mercedes Tx and proceeded into heaven on May 19, 2026. She was proceeded in death by her parents Reymundo and Ignacia (Vargas) January, her brother’s Jessie Barajas, Ruben January, and Reymundo January Jr, her nephew Rodolfo Vargas Jr, goddaughter/niece Heather Gallegos and cousin Pedro Vargas. She is survived by her husband Gregorio Unzueta-Soto, her daughters Rubyann Rubio( Benerito Gade), and Veronica (Robert) Rodriguez, step-children, Gregorio(Cinthya Yazmin)Unzueta-Martinez, Marta Unzueta-Martinez. Her grandchildren Roberto, Florentino and Johnny Ray Salinas, Christian (Shailynn) Salinas, Tatianna (Ilysiana Vazquez) Mejia, Bristol and Larissa Mejia, Cassidy and Wyatt Parker, Deynali Marisol Carlos Unzueta , Logan, Nelson and Elian Unzueta-Estrada and great granddaughter Marianna Salinas, her siblings Armando(Gloria) January, Diana January, Veronica January, Rodolfo(Mari Lu) Vargas, Aurora(Steve)Trujillo and numerous nieces, nephews, god children, plus extended family and friends. Janie love to spend time with her family, she loved spending time with her brother Armando and sister-in-law Gloria. She loved to go to cripple creek, loved going fishing and spending time with my dad going out to eat and just going riding around in the car. She loved to joke around with everyone she met, every new person had a new name other than what their name really was because she would give them their own from her. She had the biggest heart and would help anyone that needed it! She would always make sure her kids and grandchildren were well taken care of and ok before she went anywhere or went to bed! When it came to her health she was the most stubborn person you could ever met, she would argue with anyone that would tell her how she needed to change something she’s been doing for so long! If she had to stay in the hospital to get better she would only stay a couple of days and once she felt better she would tell the doctors and nurses that she was much better and ready to go home and if they wouldn’t let her leave she was leaving on her own. She was so spoiled if she asked any of us for anything we had to get it for her because if we didn’t she would not let us hear the end of it! Per my mother request there will be no services!
