Stanley Sanchez Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Stanley (Stan) Sanchez, 83, of Pueblo started his new journey on December 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Garcia; parents, Silvanio and Eva Sanchez; father and mother in-law, Jake and Josie Valenzuela; sisters-in-law, Vera Herrera and Gloria Chavez; brother-in-law, Art Valenzuela; son-in-law, James Latham. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Sanchez; children, Tina Latham, Joe (Bev) Chavez, Joanna (Mark) Lowe, Michelle (Dave) Saldana and Patrick Sanchez; son-in-law, Sam Garcia; siblings, Sil Cabrera and Dan (Rita) Sanchez; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Stan was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force and the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, painting cars, playing guitar and going to Cripple Creek. He played in a band in his younger years and a Pueblo Mariachi group. He was a devoted Catholic man who was active in his church, visiting nursing homes and praying the rosary. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank the Staff at the Sangre De Cristo Joni Fair Hospice House for their wonderful care. Mass of Resurrection 3:00 pm, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.
