James "Jimmy" Anthony Arellano Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

James "Jimmy" Anthony Arellano, 71, of Pueblo, Colorado departed his life on January 14, 2022. He was born December 28, 1950 in Antonito, CO, to parents Roger and Margaret (Ruybal) Arellano, who preceded him in death. Jim was also preceded in death by the love of his life of 40 years, Lydia Jean; brother's, Roger, Gerald, and Ramon; and sister Nancy. He is survived by his loving children, Julie (James) Vasquez, James, Tammy Lou, Gerald, Bobby (Nellie) , Ashley (Will) and Cassandra (Carlos); grandchildren, Lashelle, Shanelle, Mercedes, Dawn, Shelby, Tyler, Lilly Anne, Xavier, Sarea, Roland, Anthony, Destiny, Ryder, Quintessa, Jaimie and Chantal; great grandchildren, Chelcie, James Jr., Joshua, Neveah and Aurora; brother, Lee; sisters, Amparo, Roberta (Manuel) and Tina (Gary); favorite uncle, Arthur Ruybal, who he loved to spend time with, extended friends and family. James worked for the Pueblo Country Club for several years. He truly loved his beautiful grass and flowers that he grew over the years. He was a master gardener. He loved the outdoors, his muscle cars, and spending time with his children, and grandchildren. They were truly the light of his life. He also loved going back to his hometown, many weekends with his younger years were spent there with his family. James was an amazing person with a great sense of humor, and if he gave you a nickname, that was your only name! He will truly be missed by all those who loved him.
