Guadalupe Herrera, 73, of Pueblo, born August 5, 1947 in Sugar City Texas, and affectionately known as Gran, went to join the Lord in eternal life on July 23, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Herrera Sr.; grandsons, Jose and Randy Jr.; parents, Roberto and Candelaria Alarcon; brothers, Ray and Robert Alarcon; stepfather, Joe Marmelejo. She is survived by her children, Randy (Sarah) Herrera, Richard Jr. (Charlene) Herrera, Della (Jess) Alfaro, Patricia (Robert) Ortega and Francisco (Poncho) Herrera; grandchildren, Andrea, Vanessa, Aliana, Shawn, Abram, Sonny, Stephanie, Alvino, Crystal, Eloy Jr. and Carlos; great grandchildren, Mia, Arriya, Christopher, Joziah, Zailey, Joaquin, Leno, Steviéana, Aubrey, Noylan, Natia, Destina, Christopher, Elijah, Kayne and Royce and Sophia; brothers, Moises, Lonjino, and Everett. Guadalupe was well known over the years for her delicious and unique tamales as well as all her other Mexican dishes. Her door was always open to all friends and neighbors. She enjoyed her Golden Girls trips to Cripple Creek with Merrell and Lorraine. Guadalupe’s love and passion in life was her family and she was happiest when she was with them. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by all those she leaves behind. Memorial Service, 2:00 pm, Tuesday, Romero Family Funeral Home. Inurnment to follow, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
