Armando A. Jaquez, 93, of Pueblo passed away on October 29, 2020, He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Julia Jaquez; siblings, Demetrio Jaquez; sisters, Celsa Maestas, Casilda Rodriguez, Leontina Garcia and Viola Medina. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Marcella Jaquez; children, Irving (Cathy) Jaquez, Bertram (Deanna) Jaquez, Julie (Rick) Garbiso and Ruby (Carl) Johnson; grandchildren, Jarrold, Gregory, Anthony (Karrie), Dean (Azirae) Steven, Sarah, Samantha, Bianca and Carl Jr.; great grandson, Braxton; siblings, Marie Duran, Vera Lujan, Ellen (Manuel) Espinoza and Ted Jaquez; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Armando was a Master Welder. For 5 years he had been a dedicated and faithful employee of Romero Family Funeral Home where he also completed many welding projects, most notably the beautiful chandelier that still hangs in the lobby today. He was an avid Denver Bronco’s fan who enjoyed going fishing and camping. He also enjoyed reading his bible and broadening his knowledge on faith. At one point in Armando’s early life he had owned a ranch where he raised cattle and had his beloved horse, Sheba. Armando was very easy going and always enjoyed a good joke. Everyone he met were only strangers for a short amount of time and quickly became a friend. Armando's’ greatest joy was his family and he was happiest when he was with them. He will be forever loved and greatly missed by all those he leaves behind. Private family services with Live stream through both Facebook and YouTube at Romero Family Funeral Home Pueblo, 10:00 am, Saturday, November 7, 2020, followed by interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
