Jonathan Duque

Jonathan Duque, 29, “ Denver General”, passed away on 2 September 2023. He was preceded in death by his step-son Thomas Bruce Chase. He is survived by his wife, Andra Marie Duque; step-daughter Adriana Hudson; mother, Alexis Bautista; father David Duque; siblings, David, Alan and Angel Duque and Abby Bautista; niece and nephews, extended family and friends. Jonathan was Mexican/American and the 2nd of 5 children born in Denver Colorado. He was proud of his City of Denver and not a day would go by when he would let you know where he was born and raised. Jonathan loved spending quality time with his wife cooking and jamming out to music . He loved joining family and friends at cookouts and kickbacks or just stopping in to say hi. He was always up for a game of handball with the homies or just tossing the football and shooting some hoops at the park. Jonathan has always been a big supporter of his homies music careers and recently released his first song on Youtube. Daily, Jonathan would look at how many views he was getting, as they quickly climbed to over 3K in the first month. Jonathan has always had a love for music and movies, many that he played for his wife over the years. Jonathan is one of the realest people you would have ever met, he would give his shirt off his back for you and if you called on him he would do whatever he could to help. A couple weeks before Jonathan’s passing, he had spent 8 hours turning soil and building a beautiful garden for his wife. They spent every morning by the garden letting their turtles roam the yard as they had their morning coffee and intimate talks. Jonathan is a protector and praised God every morning when the sun rose and every night at the sun set. He would even place his wife’s amazing pot roast in the ground to give thanks and blessings for his life. Jonathan is an amazing husband, soulmate, best friend, father, son and brother. He will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed for years to come. I am forever your wife and you are forever my husband, soulmates for eternity. Looking to the Sun and skies, you are loved forever and always My Love. Rest in Peace Jonathan Duque, we love you always.
