Jonathan Michael Alfonso, 30. It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jonathan on April 5, 2024, in Pueblo, Co. He was born on September 10, 1993 in Pueblo, Co. and was the beloved son to Jeffrey Alfonso and Erin Aragon. Although Jonathan has passed from this life, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Jonathan was a light in the lives of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Dianne Kingsley, his uncle Patrick Moore and multiple great grandparents. He is survived by his three beautiful children, daughters Kyra and Emilia Alfonso, and his son Levi Alfonso; parents, Jeffrey (Christine) Alfonso and Erin (Alfonso) Aragon; siblings, Christian (Destiny) Alfonso and Giovanni Alfonso; grandparents Larry (Carolyn) Alfonso and Sue Krueger; aunt Shonna Alfonso and aunt Heather Robertson; nieces, Sophia and Arabella Alfonso, and Susi Arellanes; cousins Lynnea Alfonso-Ramirez, Brayden and Gavin Diaz; life-long best friends Matt Gallegos and Josh Master; and numerous extended family and friends. After attending both, Centennial and Central high school, Jonathan pursued his passion for welding and obtained certification from Pueblo Community College. For 12 years he dedicated himself to his craft, excelling as a certified MIG and TIG welder, foreman, railcar welder, and fabricator. His work was a reflection of his meticulous nature and unwavering dedication which is known in the trades as having “Golden Arms.” Beyond his professional pursuits, Jonathan found joy in various hobbies and interests. He loved welding, hunting, fishing, camping, and working on cars. An adventurer at heart, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing musical instruments, particularly the bass guitar. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his children, whom he cherished with all his being. Jonathan’s Character shone brightly through his caring and loving nature. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, whether he knew someone or not, and was a friend to all. His talkative and overly expressive personality always made him a joy to be around, always the life of the party and a great source of entertainment. His unique sense of style, often adorned in a Misfits t-shirt, torn jeans, a hoodie or flannel shirt, and exposed steel toe boots, always seemed to set him apart in a crowd. In the tapestry of life, Jonathan’s thread may have been cut short, but the impact he made will continue to weave through the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace Jonathan, your legacy of love and kindness will live on eternally. You will be greatly missed and forever loved buddy!
