Guillermo Rael

Guillermo (Willie) Rael, a devoted follower of Christ went to be with our Lord and Savior, March 15, 2025. Born on April 14, 1933, in Anton Chico, New Mexico to Juan Rael and Petra Sisneros Rael. Preceded in death by his daughter, Isabel; wife, Martha Medina Rael; wife, Alice Montoya Rael; father, Juan Rael; mother, Petra Sisneros Rael; siblings Crisostomo (1), Didia Rael Aragon, Erlinda (1), Candido, Erlinda (2), Filadelfio, Leandro, Petrocino, Crisostomo (2); and grandson, Zach Sanchez. He was the last surviving member of his siblings, leaving behind a void in the Rael family that deeply hurts. Survived by his seven children, John (Claudine), James (Veronica), Beatrice, Richard (Donna), Albert (Elisa), Sarah (Larry) Sanchez and Joyce, fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. He retired from the Pueblo Steel Mill, formerly known as the CF&I, now known as the Evraz Rocky Mountain Steel Plant. He enjoyed watching sports, especially boxing, horse racing and football. He also enjoyed painting and donating some of his artwork. He loved his family and cherished times with them. His biggest passion was living a life deeply rooted in faith and devotion to God and family. He served as an ordained minister of the Central Latin American District of the Assemblies of God. Pastored at the Walsenburg Assemblies of God church and Rocky Ford Assemblies of God church. He served as a volunteer in the prison ministry and the Feed My Sheep Faith based organization. He was a devout Christian and an avid student of the Bible. His Christian faith was an essential part of his life. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him leaving a legacy of love and service that will forever be cherished. "Well done, good and faithful servant.." – Matthew 25:23 The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to his honorary daughter Brenda Dabovich, honorary son Sergio Suarez, Gloria Gilmore and Welma Kuta for the kindness and care given to our beloved father.
