Francis "Frank" Trujillo

Francis "Frank" Trujillo, 84 of Pueblo, went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Pearl Trujillo; siblings Grace Duran, Edmond Trujillo, and Charlotte "Cass" Romero; nephews Eddie Trujillo and Michael Cruz. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Margaret Trujillo, children Francis Trujillo, Jr., Evette (Scott) Bailey, Rhonda (Eric Morgan) Aragon, Richard (Harmony) Follmar II; grandchildren Miranda (Felix), Jonathon (Devin), Joey, Josh (Cesley), Braedan, Brisia, Jessie (Brennan), Wednesday, and Jason; great-grandson, Colter, on the way; brother Tony Trujillo; special fur-babies Wally and Chona; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Frank worked for the Colorado Mental Health Institute of Pueblo for over 50 years. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corp from 1958-1963, selected as Honor Man during basic, and served in the 3rd Marine Division deployed to Okinowa. His Platoon Sergeant put him in boxing, which he enjoyed. After his active duty he served in the reserves. In his high school years, he attended Centennial High School and was a State Wrestler in the lightweight division earning his place on the Sports Wall of Fame for going to state all three years that he wrestled, he often shared at that time there weren't the class divisions like there are today, you simply wrestled the best of the best. Frank was an avid Denver Broncos fan. He enjoyed frequent trips to Cripple Creek ("The Hill"), going to the flea markets, but more than anything he loved, cooking for and spending time with, his grandkids and family. There was a special bond with his older grandchildren, which they referred to as the Flaco gang, he was Flaco and members were Jon, Joey, Josh and Braedan, special honorary member Miranda. Frank will be forever loved, and deeply missed by all those he leaves behind to cherish his memory. Funeral Service, 10:00 am, Thursday, June 29, 2023, Holy Family Catholic Church.
