Frances Irene Clyne

Frances Irene Clyne, 85, fondly known as “Honey” to her sisters and close family, was born in Pueblo, Colorado May 29th, 1938. Frances passed away peacefully, at home, February, 24th, 2024. Frances is predeceased by her grandparents Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, parents Robert Clyne and Virginia Johnson, sister Mary “Tootsie” Clyne, and grandson Patrick “PJ” Riggs. She is survived by her youngest sister Virginia “Picky” Clyne, her son Dennis (Sally) Torres, her daughter Pamela Riggs, her grandchildren Ricky (April) Riggs, Bonnie (Brian) Sargent, Granddaughter in-law Corrina (Patrick) Riggs, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many very loved extended family and friends. As a young mother, Frances had moved to and lived in various states, including Illinois and California, with her two beloved children. Despite having an adventurous spirit, she called Pueblo home and most of her life was spent in Pueblo. Frances spent 22 years living with her daughter, Pamela, and played a vital role in raising and caring for her three beloved grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication to her family were evident in the love and care she provided. She lived independently for some years, enjoying simple pleasures like walking to the store and chatting with her neighbors. As time passed, Frances moved back in with her devoted daughter, who lovingly cared for her until her last days Frances had a passion for adventure and enjoyed day trips with her son, Dennis, and daughter, Sally. They would explore new places, stop for lunch, shop, and soak in the sights. She cherished the outdoors, finding solace in the sunshine and especially the mountains. Camping trips in Dennis and Sally's tent and later their pop-up camper became treasured memories for her. Whether it was watching spiders building a web after a rainy day, humming birds visiting her coca- cola can, or watching the neighbors moving about, She marveled at the natural beauty around her. Frances loved food and her food preferences reflected her zest for life – from her love for hamburgers and French fries, cheese enchiladas with extra onion, to savoring spaghetti and meatballs, salads with Roquefort salad dressing, and the sprinkle of black pepper on her eggs and salads. A cup of McDonald’s coffee with two sugars and three creamers was an indulgence she relished. She had a deep appreciation for silver screen movies, musicals, and westerns. She could recite the names of actors and actresses effortlessly, even until her last days. Clint Eastwood and Tom Cruise were a couple of her favorite actors. She also enjoyed the music of Tom Jones and The Carpenters. Attending church and listening to Pastor Roman preach brought her immense joy and spiritual fulfillment. Her faith was a cornerstone in her life, guiding her with grace and strength. Above all, Frances cherished her family – Their love and bond were unbreakable, weaving a tapestry of memories that will forever echo her legacy. Frances Irene Clyne, “Honey”, will be dearly missed but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. She is now resting eternally with Jesus.
