Ruben O. Aragon, 89, of Pueblo passed away on March 7, 2022. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie Aragon; son, Evan Aragon, grandson, Ernest Ruben Samora; parents, Felipe and Elvira Aragon; and siblings, Rose Romero, Dolores Gomez, Philip Aragon, Floyd Aragon, Alonzo Aragon and Vida Montano; life-long friend, Mitchel Velasquez. He is survived by his children, Andrew (Felix) Aragon, Ruben Anthony (Karen) Aragon Jr, Ramona (Ralph) Polito, Dale I. (Juanita) Aragon and Philip (Marta) Aragon; grandchildren, Connie Marie, Andy, Marcos, Sophie, Carole, Alec and Austin; great grandchildren, Ernie A., Antonio, Adam, John and baby Kevin; siblings, Frank Aragon, Fernando Aragon, Rebecca Julian, Theresa Garduno and Mercy Sanchez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Ruben was an avid mountain man. He enjoyed all things outdoors, fishing, hunting and hiking. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife and loved every minute he got to spend with the grandkids. He was a great storyteller and made sure to tell you every detail. Ruben was a good cook and always mastered the traditional San Luis dishes. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
