Ray C. Cone

Ray C. Cone, 89, of Pueblo passed away on January 3, 2020. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Bernadette; son, Ray C. Jr.; parents, Thomas and Gussie; brothers, Bob and Jaymie. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; children, Evelyn Chavez, Linda Cone, Thomas R. Cone II, Bernard (Sandy) Cone, and Bridget (Gilbert) Trujillo; daughter-in-law, Trish; grandchildren, Stephanie, Mitchel, Hannah, Thomas, Timothy, Tesha, Mary, Kelsey, Katie, Ryan, Kevin, Tyson, Jordan Daniel, Patrick, Andrew, Stephen and Carolyne; siblings, Harles and Nan; numerous extended family. Ray joined the United States Army Air Corps in 1946 and transitioned into the United States Air Force. His 24 years took him to Japan, New Mexico, Montana, Minnesota, Germany, California, and the Republic of the Philippines, He had a passion for traveling the world. He also loved sports and officiated baseball, softball and football up to the high school level. He was a devoted family man and loved his wife, his children and especially his grandchildren. He appreciated the help of his best friend Rudy Gradoz and his wife Michelle, who the family would like to give special thanks to. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
