Naomi Y. “Sugar” Franklin, 61, of Pueblo, passed away on March 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jayleen Franklin; grandmother, Antonia Sanchez; father-in-law, Henry Franklin; and brother-in-law, Victor Velasquez. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Fred Franklin; children, Jeremy (Crystal) Franklin, Selina (Bruce) Burton and Daniel “Boone” Romero; grandchildren, Durron, Jeremy Jr., Mariah, Olivia, Kyrina, Justin and Denika; parents, Dave and Clarinda Baca; mother-in-law, Erlinda Franklin; siblings, Tiny (Kim) Baca, Antonia Velasquez, Michael Baca, Irene Moore, and Raymond (Gloria) Baca; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gilbert (Diane) Franklin, Lloyd Franklin and Alonzo (Jennifer) Franklin Sr.; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Naomi enjoyed shopping and going to Cripple Creek. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by all those she leaves behind.
