Nancy Elizabeth Arveschoug Montague

December 25, 1960 - March 11, 2022

Nancy Elizabeth Arveschoug Montague, 61, of Pueblo, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Louise “Jacki” Pavalasky Freeark; father, Neil Arveschoug; stepfathers, Dorman Freeark and Robert Walker Sr. She is survived by her adoring husband, Max Montague; children, Misty (Ben) Salazar and Patrick (Alexandria) Romero; grandchildren, Oliver Salazar, Orion Salazar, Julius Romero, Skylar Montague, Tyson Montague and Sidney Montague; siblings, Nani (Len) Sapeda, Michael (Patty) Walker, Mark (Connie) Walker, David Arveschoug, Barry Arveschoug and Robert (Cindy) Walker Jr; stepson, Charles (Katie) Montague; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Nancy graduated from CSU Pueblo where she received her degree in teaching. From there she taught as a reading specialist at Pueblo Academy of Arts and Science. In her spare ​time, she enjoyed making arts and crafts and jewelry. She had a beautiful soul and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
