She had the call of the Lord to preach the gospel and was not ashamed to share Christ with everyone she met especially her family. Mom read all 66 books of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation every year for 40 plus years until her eyesight started to fail. Mom had the Word hidden in her heart, so she was able to remember during her difficult times. Psalm 119:11 We loved mom’s cooking. She made the best homemade bread, tortillas, empanadas, enchiladas, menudo, burritos, tamales, beans, and her famous Macias chorizo tacos because they were all made with Love. We knew not to get in her way when she was making her tamales because they had to be made to perfection! She loved to do puzzles, crochet beautiful doilies and small tablecloths. As well as, tend to her flowers and feed the hummingbirds. Funeral Service, 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 24, 2021,Praise Assembly of God.
