Manuel Isidro Gallegos, 86, of Pueblo passed away on March 2, 2021. He was preceded in death by his son Gary Lee Gallegos; parents, Isidro and Petra Gallegos; siblings, Estephanita Yara, Marcelina Gallegos, Dolores Gallegos, Rosie Gonzalez, Raes Gallegos, Margarito Gallegos, Julian Gallegos and Joe Gallegos. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Angela; daughter, Debra Gallegos; grandchildren, Jerrid Lee Salazar and Gary Lee Gallegos; god daughter and her family, Brenda (Jordan), Diego, Dionicio, Destiny Ethan, Damien and Jordy McCleary; siblings, Trinidad (Mildred) Gallegos and Emelia (Miguel) Camacha; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Manuel worked at CF&I for 34 years in the Coke plant as an engineer. He then worked for 25 years at the Pueblo Race Track as Security. He enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling, boxing, listening to Mexican Music and coasting with a cold one “40”. From a young man he carried his love and passion for cool cars and hot rods. Especially his viper red 53 Chevy truck, “Tin Lizzy” He touched many lives with his beaming smile and strong heart. His journey in life was lived with honor, respect and faith, The example of a great man. Our days ahead will be fueled and strengthened by your memories and teachings. You will be so missed.
