He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Bernadine Lucero DeHerrera; children, John Henry (Annaliece) DeHerrera III, Isaiah Anthony (Brea) DeHerrera and Serenity Monique DeHerrera; stepson, Sergio Devon Lucero; grandchildren, Luciana, Aunisty and John Henry DeHerrera IV; mother, Julie (Floyd) Valdez; sisters, Lisa, Teresa and Ruby DeHerrera; god children, JoJo DeHerrera and Elijah Lucero and his pebbles, Alarae Armenta; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; extended family and friends; brothers from the heart, Chuco, Jose and Joey DeHerrera, Rick Medina and Stevan Armenta. KeKe’s pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. He loved his wife and family to the fullest. He was an avid fan of the Colts. “Goooo Colts!!!” was one of his favorite sayings and everyone knew he was a Bronco hater. LOL. KeKe enjoyed fishing, camping and playing Texas Hold’em. He also enjoyed music, his truck and family get togethers. He was a dedicated husband, father, brother, son and uncle who worked hard through the years to support his family and would do anything for any of them in need. He was the pillar of strength in his family. KeKe loved the West Side but most of all he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial Service, 3:00 pm, Thursday, May 12th, 2022, Romero Family Funeral Home.
