Joe Maes

November 22, 1947 - March 15, 2022

Joe Leroy Maes, 74, of Pueblo West, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2022. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Maes; parents, Santana Aguirre and Santiago (Mary) Maes; brother, John Maes; aunt, Perfecta Maes, cousin, Phyllis Burke; and other extended family. He is survived by his loving wife, Estella Maes; children, Michael (Paula) Maes, Renee Maes (Frank), Norman Maes and Liana Maes(Efrain); grandchildren, Michael Jr, Sonya, Aaron, Linda, Rudee, Jenna, Joe and Skyla; great grandchildren, Joal, Ahliana, Nevin, Lilah, Arabella, Manuel, Eli, Zavian, Aiden, Ezra, Maliyah, Ezekiel, Zoe, Jevin Jr., Joviannah, Jovaeyah, Jovalinah and Connor; siblings, Monico(Judy) Maes, Eusebio (Nancy)Maes, Marie (Jeff) Zoller, Adolf (Cecilia) Maes, Alfonso (Mary Ann) Maes, Cleo (Joe) Maldonado and Ernestine Maes; step children, Leah Castruita, Darlene Padilla (Roberto Sanchez), John (Yolanda) Padilla and Tomas Castruita; step grandchildren, Ysenia, John III, Roberto Jr., Alletse, Elian, Meikho and Joselyn; mother-in-law, Mary Sais; special cousin, Juanita Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Joe loved the word of God. He enjoyed driving fast, buying and selling cars, watching westerns and watching Pastor Geno Jennings.
