Jerry L. McMahon

Jerry L. McMahon, 70, of Pueblo, passed away peacefully at his home on December 15, 2021. He was preceded in death by his good friends, Jackie DeJoy, Ben Casias, Micky Shuman, Dick “Serh” Piserchio and Sandy Graff. He is survived by his two sons, Garon and Logan Haskell-McMahon both of Pueblo; mother of his children, Brenda Haskell of Canon City; brother, Mitch (Loretta) McMahon of Colorado City; his beloved dogs Koda and Mellow. Jerry owned the Al-Re-Ho Living Legends Lounge for 12 years and enjoyed every day of it. He believed people were “living legends in their own time". He enjoyed the many patrons that stopped in for a cocktail through the years. Jerry loved golfing with his friends and attending pro golf tournaments with his family. He arranged many customer appreciation events for the Avalanche and Bronco games. Jerry charted a bus for bar patrons to attend the Avalanche 1996 National Hockey League Playoffs for the Stanley Cup. The event was full of hockey, fun and drink. His favorite players were Patrick Roy and Joe Sakic. He also served up the annual “Pig Roast” every summer. Many of his friends and patrons from near and far would drop in for the annual party and Jerry was always surprised and happy to see everyone. Wind, rain and snow or cold never prevented Jerry from attending many Bronco football games, He enjoyed each and every one of them, except when they lost. Jerry’s favorite vacation destination was Cozumel, which he visited many times. He became acquainted with the friendly natives and enjoyed visiting downtown for a different version of coastal life and ​inner-city life of the island. He succeeded in experiencing many many adventures on the island. He was blessed to have many friends and acquaintances throughout his life. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Rest peacefully. At Jerry’s request, cremation with a Celebration of Life planned for a later date. Service information will be updated as needed.
