    Janelle Susan Judith Mondragon

    October 5, 2020

Janelle Susan-Judith Mondragon, 26, of Pueblo, passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2020. She was proceeded in death by her grandmother, Judith McPhail; grandfather, Lloyd Mondragon; uncles, Gabriel T. Montez Sr. and Leonard Mondragon; and aunt Peggy Montez. She is survived by her son, Paul Sierra III; mother, Tara McPhail; father Lawrence (Jeannie) Mondragon; siblings, Derek McPhail, Jeremiah Garcia, Adrianna Arellano and Jonette Garcia; grandmother, Susan Mondragon; grandfather, Harry McPhail; aunt, Tracy Mondragon; uncle, Alan McPhail; cousins, Gabriel (Ashley) Montez Jr., Joseph (Devon) Montez, MJ and Chloe Mondragon; nephews and nieces, Oliver McPhail, Monroe McPhail, Thomas Brody, Javen and Mya Garcia, Mianna Bernal, MylaRae Salas and Baby Lucero; numerous other family; many close friends. Janelle’s light entered this world as the typical girly girl but she ran with her brother and many cousins like one of the boys. She grew up often being one of her teachers and classmates favorites, attending Freed Middle School, South High for her Freshman year and then Centennial High School. Janelle loved cruising in her car, listening to Chris Brown and Janet Jackson. She also loved her job and spending time with her friends and co-workers. Janelle always has a smile on her face and loved meeting new people. She had a huge heart and she cared deeply for others, always helping them before she helped herself. More than anything she loved spending time with her family, especially her heart and soul, the light of her life, her precious son Paul III. Her love will not be forgotten and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Viewing, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, Tuesday, in 10 person rotations. Please call Romero Family Funeral home to schedule a time. 719-583-1313. Private Family Services with Live stream through both Facebook and YouTube at Romero Family Funeral Home Pueblo, 3:00, Tuesday.
