Ida Edna Vigil, 82, of Pueblo, surrounded by her loving family, passed away on February 16, 2021. She was born on September 12, 1938 in Chama, Colorado to Joe P. and Trinidad Vigil. She was preceded in death by her parents; baby siblings, Wilfred and Rose Vigil; brother, Joseph Vigil, brothers-in-law, Levi Sanchez, Louie Esquibel and Gilbert Padilla. Ida is survived by her loving children, Anette (Jeff) Mazich, Julie ( Mike) Trujillo and Brian Vigil (Evelyn Trujillo); grandchildren, Curtis Gurule (Chris Comeaux), Nic Gurule, Kari (Kevin) Lewis and Tonya Trujillo(Bo Verna); step-grandchildren, Chris (Christa) Mazich, Nikki (Tommy) Demers and Stanley Gurule; step-great grandchildren, Aspen and Grayson Mazich; siblings, Naomi Sanchez, Inez Padilla, Eunice Esquibel, Janet Vigil, Lorraine (Frank Almeida), Billy Vigil, Wilfred (Florence) Vigil and Rory (Marlene) Vigil; sister-in-law, Judy Vigil; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; extended family and friends; her special RyRy; and best friend, Wanda Valdez and family. Ida was an avid Denver Bronco’s fan and enjoyed going to Cripple Creek. She loved going back home to the Canyón and spending time there with family. Ida loved being with her family the most, she loved cooking for her grandkids and she especially loved anything having to do with her grandchildren’s performances, hockey games, basketball games and softball games. She was their biggest fan! She will be forever loved and deeply missed by all those she leaves behind.
