Felipe Gallegos, 74, of Pueblo West passed away on January 9, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Federico and Ruby Gallegos; son Joe-Joe; siblings, Rosalie, Teresa, Joseph Pete, Billy, and Dimas. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, True Gallegos; children, Felipe Jr., Rick, Thaddeus (Melissa), Sonya, and Federico (Valerie); siblings, Mary Lou Vigil, George Gallegos, and Benjie (Elaine) Gallegos; his beloved pets Homer, Itchy, and Dexter and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren; and extended family and friends. Felipe was a hard worker his entire life. He was a Veteran in the United States Army. He was a self-employed Electronic Technician and owned his own business for over 30 years. He could fix anything and was very handy around the home. He enjoyed spending time with his family having cookouts, watching sports, and fishing in the mountains. For those that knew him, knew he took great pride in his yard with his lawn and his vines and would spend many Summer nights in the yard talking with family and friends. He was athletic and enjoyed watching basketball and football, in particular the Denver Nuggets and Denver Broncos. He enjoyed playing softball and baseball for many years and traveled the country for various tournaments. He was the type of man who did not take life too seriously. He marched to the beat of his own drum. He enjoyed going to the casinos with his family and friends and his slot technique was unmatched! He never met a stranger, always had time for everyone, and made friends everywhere he went. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Memorial Service, 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 5, 2022, Romero Family Funeral Home, Pueblo. Masks are required.
