Esperanza Leyba Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Esperanza Leyba, 88, of Pueblo, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Carlotta Medina; lifelong companion, Archie Trujillo; siblings, Mike Medina, Nash (Mary) Medina, Lucy (Jess) Garcia, Angie (George) Ayala, Tomi Trujillo, Joe Medina and Vicki (Chuck) Olivas. She is survived by her, daughter, Loretta Chavez; grandchildren, Jacqueline (Paul) Benny, Bernadette (Mario), Julie and Gordo; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson, Raiden Grey; siblings, Helen (Tino) Herrera and Virginia (Andy) Bobian; sisters-in-law, Cecilia Medina and Mary Medina; godchildren, David Montoya, Marisa Herrera and Barbara Reyes; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; extended family and friends. Esperanza’s family was her greatest treasure. She enjoyed cooking, lunches with her sisters and shopping on the weekends. She also enjoyed trips to New Mexico and going up the hill. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by all those she leaves behind. Rosary, 2:30 pm, followed by Memorial Service, 3:00 pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Romero Family Funeral Home.
