Ermalinda Leticia Luna, 91, of Pueblo, born May 28, 1929, passed away Friday April 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Luna; her parents Joseph P. and Elvira Lucero; brothers Manuel and Robert Lucero; and sister Veronica Lucero. She is survived by her children, Michael Gill, Francine (Richard) Terzian, Francisco (Melissa) Luna, and Phillip (Magally) Luna; grandchildren Brittany (David) Stahl, Grant (Christa) Terzian, Rachel Gill, Luce Luna, Isabel Luna; 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Doris Arriaga, Ernest (Roberta) Lucero, Francis Montano, Juanita Davignon, and Martha (Russell) Doose; many nieces and nephews.. Ermalinda graduated from Pueblo Catholic High school in 1947 and attended Colorado State College of Education where she received her degree in Education/Music. Later she received her Masters of Education degree from Adams State College. She spent her professional years as a Teacher, Principal and a Reading Specialist for Pueblo District 60. She was also a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society for Women Educators. After retirement she continued to teach piano lessons and spent many hours volunteering at the Shrine of St. Therese, where she was a lifetime member. She was an avid crafter, her interests included: stained glass, tole painting and knitting with some candy and her kitty by her side. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and visiting her sisters in California and Kansas. She will be dearly missed by all those she knew and loved.
