Dan Aguilar passed away February 13, in Pueblo after a long illness. He was born April 22, 1944, in La Garita, Colorado to Ralph and Delia Aguilar. Dan faithfully attended Holy Family Parish where he actively attended Mens Group and Mass. He married his soul mate Bernice and dedicated his life to raising his children, enjoying his family and spending time outdoors. Dan retired from the Commanche Plant where he spent 32 dedicated years. He was a skilled craftsman able to build a house, weld, work with wood, and was a patient master gardener. He enjoyed watching and attending Bronco and Rockies games, listening to Spanish music and trips to Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernest, Victor; and sister Emelda. Dan is survived by his Wife, and children Janie (Ron), Claude (Jody), Kenny (Nicole); grandchildren, Erica (JD), Roni (Rob), Mitchel, Troy, Zack and baby Sienna; 5 great grandchildren; and siblings, Joe, Nick, Sam and Sylvia. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Rosary, 6:00 pm, Tuesday. Mass of the Resurrection, 11:00 am, Wednesday, all at Holy Family Church. Interment to follow, Imperial Memorial Gardens. Viewing prior to rosary. Reception following interment, Holy Family Hall.
