Cremation Options

Our Cremation Options

Today many families are choosing cremation.  Our funeral directors will help you select an option which is a fitting tribute for your loved one.

Traditional Service followed by Cremation

Traditional Service followed by Cremation

This option allows your family the chance to say goodbye before cremation takes place.  The value of an open casket viewing in our culture is very strong and is supported by grief experts around the country.

The preparations are much like traditional earth burial, except the body is cremated after the service. The funeral ceremony may be held at our chapel, your church or other facility. The ashes are returned to your family and may then be buried, scattered or kept at home for a period of time.

Includes: Basic service charge, embalming and sanitary care of deceased, cosmetology, rental casket for viewing and services, funeral service, cremation fee, cremation container, minimum urn, and Romero Courtesy Hall for gathering after services.

Not Included: Register book, memorial folders, acknowledgement cards, death certificates, obituary notice, flowers, clergy stipend, music and other tributes.

Direct Cremation followed by Memorial Service (no viewing)

For a variety of reasons, some families choose to forgo a viewing and have the body cremated immediately, but still want the closure that a memorial service may provide.  This option includes a memorial service at your church or a simple gathering of family and friends at our funeral home chapel.

There are times when simple disposition of the body is all that is wanted.  We are able to accommodate this request.

Memorialization

Memorialization

Today more than ever people are choosing cremation.  We encourage families to personalize their services with the use of flowers, picture collages and memory tables with your loved ones favorite items. Other tributes you may want to consider are dove or balloon releases, video tributes, military ritual, memorial candles, and keepsake portion urns or cremation jewelry.
